About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care (Wards 21-24)

(as the patient),

Being a first time mum I was nervous about labour but having my midwife Carol there from start to end was a great relief as she kept me (and my partner) as calm as i could be as it was my first time. Also a great thank you to all the other staff who helped and to the theatre staff as I ended up having to have forceps delivery.

All the staff at University Wishaw General hospital were fantastic and made my experience enjoyable (as it could be).

Hi Lrundell,

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience on Care Opinion you feedback is extremely important to us.

I'm delighted to hear you had such a positive experience during you labour and birth and I will certainly share your kind words with Carol and the rest of the team here at Wishaw.

Wishing you all the very best with your new baby, being a first time mum can be daunting but it sounds as if you're off to a great start!

Take care,

Liz
