"Emergency appointme-Cannot get an appointment..."

My father in law is an 89 year old who has just been discharged from hospital following an infection- he has been quite poorly and had intravenous antibiotics and was very confused

Ihe came home on Tuesday 6th November and was advised to book a GP appointment straight away to ‘sort some things out’ He still feels quite poorly-and cannot manage to get to the surgery- the earliest appointment they can give hiim is next Tuesday! - a week away- this is appalling serviceable very disappointing from a community health centre- This is an elderly frail gentleman - this health centre is letting down the people who need them to step up and support the elderly community
