"Cannot thank the staff enough at New Victoria Hospital"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with wet macular degeneration of the right eye, I was shown all x-rays/photos of the illness and given thorough exploration of the treatment involved.

I attended the day surgery recently to be given an injection in my right eye, when I arrived I was treated with the utmost respect from everyone and when the doctor came along he explained the whole procedure again and asked if I had any questions that he would answer.

After the treatment I was returned to the day ward and given a cup of tea and biscuits, before I was allowed to go home I was given drops to put in my eye and list of phone numbers if there were any problems.

I cannot thank all the staff enough for making me feel at ease.

Very many thanks for taking the time and trouble to let us know about your recent positive experience at the new Victoria Hospital Day Surgery Unit.

I will ensure that your very kind and thoughtful comments are passed on to the staff concerned. They, I am sure, will be thrilled to hear of your feedback.

Paul
