My stay on orchard last 5 months, where I was admitted due to a build up of suicide attempts and my deterialising mental state. The vast majority of staff treated me well upon arrival and throughout my admission. The only negative I have is with most of the agency staff, who seem to not care about the patients at all, many of whom falling asleep or not paying attention to their patient while on a 1:1 and somehow still get away with it. Aside from that, all other staff members are lovely, highly trained, and clearly care, treating patients as people and not numbers. In the unfortunate event I or someone I knew had to be admitted, Cheadle royal would be where I would want to go, especially Orchard Unit. Thank you Orchard
