"They identified and sorted the problem in quick time"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as a service user),

I attended Ayr Hospital having lost 70% of my hearing for the last 4 days, suffering dizziness and imbalance. I have to fly early tomorrow for a very important business meeting which I thought I would have to cancel. I was seen and treated within an hour by ANPs Gilmore and Turner and was totally impressed by their care professionalism and good humour in  attending to me. They identified and sorted the problem in quick time and I can now go ahead with my work. Very much appreciated and great experience.

Dear Raschid

Thank you very much for taking the time to feedback your recent positive experience within UHA following your hearing loss.

I am always humbled when people like yourself take time to feedback on Care Opinion, even if that feedback is not so good. It really means a lot to our services as we know when we are getting it right and, hopefully on the rare occasion, we may be getting it wrong.

I will ensure that the teams are given your feedback and I know that it will be a welcomed boost to their day.

I hope you have made a full recovery and that your trip goes well.

Kind regards

John
