The Royal Free have some of the greatest doctors around, however in my experience their communication is appalling.
The staff responsible for me did an ultrasound on the wrong patient and only discovered this when I told the doctor I hadn't had one. They kept me up all night for "sleep deprivation" when in fact they'd been told to simply send me to bed later and get me up earlier.
And despite being in specifically for monitoring purposes, when I had an episode that the doctor wanted reported on by other staff members, they failed to monitor it and didn't tell my doctor it had even happened.
In a visit two weeks later, I was mistaken called back when I shouldn't have been, and then they had to send me down to A and E, and promptly lost me, nobody seemed to know where I was, the police nearly got called cos they told my carer I'd walked out. I'm in a wheelchair.
