"I had enough of this surgery"

Today I was very upset by the nurse. Not only she gave me few bruises, one in my hand, after taking some blood. She asked me to go on the scales and commented and made an issue on my weight making me feel embarrassed and upset about it. If she would know my medical history, the reason of why I was having some blood out, she would know that the weight is the result of medical conditions and a cancer treatment, instead of making me feel embarrassed, ashame and upset. I have never been happy about my weight, however, I am far from being obese and my weight has been the same for years, which at least, is something.

As for the GPs, my experience is neither good or bad. However, they have failed to be helpful, they just print info from the internet or asked me to call the clinics at Southmead. It has been as they just needed to get me through the appointment as they are always very delayed.

I moved to the area around a year ago, and for sure, long is gone the support and care I felt from the GPs in my previous surgery, specially after cancer. Luckily I don't need to go to the doctors often... After the results of my blood come, I will be looking to move into another surgery.
