When you are diagnosed with breast cancer the colour drains from your world and you feel afraid and vunerable. The team in the Breast Care Unit seem to understand this and not only do they provide you with the best medical care they support you enotionally as well.

You are designated a breast care nurse to support you and mine exuded a genuine warmth that reassured me in difficult times. My consultant had that special quality that enabled him to connect with his patients that made you feel he truly cared. I felt total trust in this man and my faith was proved to be well placed. His expertise got me clear margins and thus spared me further surgery.

Speaking to other patients they too spoke highly of the care received at this hospitals Breast Cancer Clinic.
