"Excellent care in A&E"

I was sent to A&E (in an ambulance) by my GP. The paramedics were kind, efficient and thorough. Within minutes of arriving at the hospital, tests had been started. I was moved from Rapid assessment to a cubicle within a reasonable space of time and treated from there. Diagnostic tests were carried out promptly and results discussed with me. A treatment plan was suggested; I was given drugs and advice and released within 4 hours of arrival.

I compare this to the experience of patients at the hospital local to where I lived until recently and am hugely impressed.
