"My recent experience at Northern General Hospital"

About: Northern General Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I spent four days in the Northern General Hospital after a minor heart attack.

I had very good attention so I haven't any complaint about my treatment, however I was surprised when I was offered 'Angioplasty' and I refused. I was not asked why I had made that decision. On previous visits follow up treatment had always been discussed.

When I was eventually moved to another ward I was surprised to find no one came onto the ward selling newspapers etc. as had happened in the past. If you don't get any visitors, this makes for long boring days with nothing to read.
