"After my gall bladder removal"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / General surgery

(as a service user),

I had to be transferred to Lincoln at 5am thursday earlier this month. Louth hospital do not have overnight facilities after day ops. I was often in severe pain, asking for pain relief, sometimes waiting nearly 2 hours. I know the staff are very busy but I was/am in so much pain. I had to wait until Friday morning for an ultrasound scan after being told Thursday I needed an URGENT scan. Never did get told results. Had a water infection, diagnosis Friday, no meds til Saturday. Went home Saturday 5pm been in constant pain, think I have a blockage, I have overflow. Started lactulose yesterday from chemist. Cannot get to doctors. Bank staff on SALS amazing Friday night/Saturday. No discharge advice from doctor, just if you feel ok you can go home later...
