"Efficient, friendly, and professional"

Having done myself a mischief with a power tool on 21st October I found myself needing the services of A&E.

Once booked in I was seen literally within 30 seconds of sitting down, the triage nurses were fantastic and immediately sent me off to be seen by a doctor. Within 30 minutes I was back in A&E after seeing the doctor twice and having an x ray.

Back with the A&E staff I was looked after amazingly well, it seemed that everyone was doing all they could and more to look after me and make sure I was comfortable. They even put up with my flippant attitude and bad jokes!

I really can not praise the staff enough for looking after me and making sure that I was informed about what was happening and dealing with me as quickly as possible. I know that they work in difficult circumstances under extreme pressure but I felt like the most important patient in the hospital which is testament to their commitment and professionalism.

Next time I try to remove body parts with inappropriate tools I will have no hesitation in heading straight to QMC to be treated like a VIP!
