"Cardiology has Ignored my Symptoms for nearly a..."

About: Queen's Hospital / Accident & emergency

Senior consultants and some Juniors as well, in A&E's Ambulatory Care and Majors-Lite and even in MAJORS; cannot seem to UNDERSTAND I'm having heart problems.

Some of the nurses/receptionists were WONDERFUL and very helpful, thanks.

Other nurses/receptionists need to learn politeness, people don't go to hospital unless they feel ill

Me:

41 years old mother, wife. white European. overweight. left work because of the pain i get when I exerted myself, over 10 months ago. I worked in a primary school so i guess my job was stressful then.

No previous history of heart conditions or irregular blood pressure neither in my family.

Never been involved in an accident nor take part in extreme sports activities

No chronic pain sufferer and never been

Have not had depression or anxiety attacks or panic attacks or any reason to have them.

Having severe, stubbing chest pains after I exert myself with simple tasks like walking to the first floor in one go.

Feel chest is tight especially if I'm having pains

Since the blood clot five weeks ago, I'm been feeling lightheaded and dizzy. Feel short of breath and sometimes sense of doom. Feel like drowning, I can taste blood in my throat. I'm not coughing and haven't had a cold or a cough or infection in the past year.

Feel my heart pounding and sometimes a feel of emptiness

Feel the heart skip beats with no warning at all.

Blood pressure is never too high or too low 150/100, 160/96

Beats per minute is almost constantly over the 120bpm, laying on the bed is over a 100bpm.

Pains radiate to neck, jaw and left arm. Left arm sometimes feels tingling or numb.

Pains sometimes feel like stubbing but they are not constant, they feel better when I rest.

I can speak full short sentences but is a struggle.

I'm always tired.

X-Ray normal

Tolerance test showed Sinus Tachycardia, couldn't complete it. 185bpm walking for 6 min !!

several short ECGs always shows Sinus Tachycardia but Seniors don't seem to care.

ECHO seems normal during the test but the pace was over 130bpm and I didn't feel the heart do its weird thing

Cardiologist Dr Foo discharged me in March

Blood Tests showed BLOOD CLOT, on the 20th of September 2018

CT scan shows liquid in my lungs suggesting the heart is overworking or not working properly, showed an enlarged heart, especially left ventricle. But somehow no one there seems to be wanting to help

22nd October was sent to A&E by the ECHO personnel (you were wonderful Thanks) due to the fast pace.

Was rushed and ready in MAJORS, on a hospital bed, signed paperwork, they were FINALLY going to carry an Angiogram only to find out that the Senior Dr wanted me out of the ward.

Sent home with no referral, no treatment, no suggestions, advices or what to do next.

Told to speak to GP as they "CANNOT DO ANYTHING ELSE FOR ME" Junior consultant working under Senior
