Excellent care. I took a child with a head injury. They were very kind, caring and skillful. We didn't have to wait long. They cleaned and treated the wound and we didn't need to go anywhere else which was fantastic.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and I am sorry you had cause to visit the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at The Tyrrell hospital in Ilfracombe.

It must have been a worrying time for you and I am glad your child was seen quickly and the head wound was able to be cleaned and treated in the unit.

I am pleased your child received excellent care and staff were kind and provided reassurance and I hope the head injury is healing well.

I have forwarded on your kind comments to the Manager of the MIU where they will be warmly received and shared with staff.
