"a great listening ear and fantastic support"

About: Phgh Doctors

Recently have had various concerns that relate to my spinal difficulties, diabetes,, acid reflux-tonsillitis and general weakness -sensitivities.

have been referred further to various departments in the royal free and chase farm hospitals and am currently waiting for appointment to discuss surgical advice re hiatus hernia/acid reflux as medication isn't totally stopping concern - all which are listened to in the surgery when I ahev to discuss it with them

whenever I call reception they trust my concerns and try as much as possible to accommodate me by making asap an appointment.

They( at reception) as well as all doctors and nurses show utmost respect for my religious concerns whilst also having to administer their professional care and duties.

They go out of their way to give over any messages, copy any documentations and to arrange telephone consultation when possible to do so.

last week alone was one such good example of their help and listening ear.

I had been two days previously at finchley memorial hospital and moorfields eye hospital for a scratched cornea and conjunctivitis story of acre in its own rights for which I have written to the nhs.

all ln all-the staff have been very nice ,kind and understanding especially when recently feeling rather vunerable including re my back, diabetes( with its various tests and referalls) other concerns.

in the current day age -this is something that should be publicised as doctors and the nhs get bad press.

I speak as a freelance rabbi and charity worker that visits various care homes and facilities for people fo all ages with various difficulties.

In such places I see what it means to feel stuck but well cared for.

in real life for myself this is unfortunately the same but encouraging cushion for such care etc.

especially when it comes to religious festivals and a difficult fast day once a year as a diabetic-it is very nice to now that the detail of all concerns are well understood and respected.

Last but not least I have compiled a booklet on diabetes which the staff have shown a nice interest in and asked for copies-which I will gladly send by email to any interested party.

it is especially nice and encouraging to now that I have somewhere to fall back onto that helps to give such valuable support and care,

much more could be said and discussed. please feel free to contact me diretclyto discuss further incl. how to publish and counteract any bad impression given in the press.

best wishes

from an appreciative patient
