"Doctors, Receptionists excellent. Dispensary..."

As a family we have been with this practice for over 40 years so have seen many changes in both staff and surroundings,

I cannot fault our own doctor, who is both caring and professional. I have no experience of the other doctors.

The receptionists are very nice and as helpful as they can be given the workload they have.

The downside of this is that it is quite difficult to get an appointment and I have had to wait certainly up to 3 weeks before now, a couple of years ago I was really unwell with a chest infection and was told that I had to wait for 10 days before seeing a doctor. As it happened my daughter rang and insisted that I be seen urgently, consequently I was seen within 24 hours. Unfortunately there are not enough surgeries in this area to cope with the amount of people in The Romsey area which is giving the overworked, overstretched surgeries such as Alma Road a bad name.

Over all they are coping as well as they can be.

Regrettably it is the Dispensary staff who are unprofessional and treat you as both a nuisance and as if you are stupid. I find them both rude, dismissive and very uncooperative.
