The doctors I have seen are lovely and seem extremely competent. Usually seen within a reasonable period of my appointment time; sometimes more than half an hour's wait, which is annoying if your time is at all valuable to you or others.
Almost all of the nurses I have seen have been brilliant. The diabetic nurse seems to have some gaps in her knowledge.
Two samples I've given in to reception have gone missing over the last few years- the last was now more than a year ago. I don't know if this is a flaw with the reception staff or with their system, and I hope it has now been fixed.
Getting prescriptions reordered can be a pain. Right at the point where you're expecting to pick it up from the pharmacy, you discover it's been withheld for no given reason, and after a lot of phone calls you find out it's because there's some kind of query over it- in this situation it would have been much much much easier for everyone if the surgery could just have given the patient a call.
"Very good practice, not perfect"
