"Felt more like having a chat with friends than a procedure"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Ambulatory Care

(as a relative),

I took my dad into the Ambulatory Care day surgery unit at Forth Valley Hospital, Larbet for the removal of a cyst. We were seen by David and Mary. Both were very warm and welcoming and made my dad and I feel at ease. They were both very chatty and to be honest did not feel like we were going to get a procedure done, more like having a chat with friends. Very nice and genuine people and I wish their are more people like them in the world. Thank you so much for your time, and maybe if we have to return for something else, we get both of you again.

Mary and I would like to thank you for your very encouraging feedback. We find that chatting with patients and relatives eases their anxiety and makes our day more fulfilling too. I hope the cyst has gone for good this time, but should anything else need removed we would be delighted to see you both again.

Thank you once again.

David
