"Waiting over 4 hours to be seen in Moorfields clinic"

For the 2nd clinic visit running, my husband spent from just before 2.30pm (his appointment time) to 6.42pm in Moorfields. He spent not more than 20 minutes of those 4 hrs 12 minutes with medical staff.

The care he has received from the medical staff has been great, but the appointments system and management of the process is dreadful. The value of patient time is not zero!

And of course everybody is very anxious anyway, the room becomes over-crowded (literally standing room only), hot and stuffy, and there is no information given.

Our GP surgery has recently greatly improved its appointments system, so it can be done.
