"Out of hours service in treatment centre"

I would have preferred to be able to access somebody privately regarding this but having tried all weekend, unsuccessfully, to find a contact number I feel here is the only option i have.

My complaint is not about the Urgent Care or even the Doctor who saw but the extremely rude and aggressive receptionist, if I hadn't felt as ill as I did I dont think I would have stayed there to be spoken at the way she spoke to me.

I was referred via my pharmacist on Saturday via Urgent Care which is apparently the wrong thing to do, she had made me feel very uncomfortable about being there. She then spoke to the Doctor and came out and told me that the Doctor had been trying to call me several times on my mobile phone which I had in my hand, I showed her I had no missed calls and we checked the number was correct which it was, but she said that the Doctor had said that and she would believe the Doctor over me!!!

I felt humiliated.

When the Doctor came into reception the receptionist asked the Doctor to confirm that she had been trying to contact me and the Doctor said No, she had been calling patients but not me.

At this point an apology from the receptionist would have been appropriate but she just sneered and looked away.

I hate to complain but as I always compliment services I feel strongly enough about this to make people aware of how someones attitude can effect a person, especially when they are there because they are feeling unwell.

This is not a complaint about the service it is point out that your receptionist on Saturday afternoon needs customer service training.
