"Telephone manor by the ELECTIVE ADMISSIONS"

About: Royal United Hospital / Pain Management

First of all I am not happy by an individual on the Elective Admission team, as I have bee awaiting for surgery on my left ankle to have it fussed together, my consultant advise me to have the surgery and the mentioned team will be in touch with a date, I told him I’m not available in the first week of September as I’m on holiday so he placed this note through his dictaphone to this team, saying PREFERABLY AFTER SEPTEMBER,,they have phoned me twice and I’ve explained that what was said to my consultant and read what was on my copy of my formal letter and YOU CAN HAVE A COPY ANYTIME, this person said that is not explained on her copy, so the second time they phoned again same person explained again but this time two days before my holiday, and she explained I need to wait four weeks to be clear of any probs, so let them know that I am back so I waited four weeks and phoned them to be placed back on the list TWICE I HAVE DONE THIS, I was told by the person I am back on the list on the two occasions, I have heard nothing so I phoned today again to ask if I am on the list and to be told BY A THE SAME PERSON BUT WITH A BIT OF ATTITUDE I am not on the list and after two calls previously and been lied too about the list I was on, I am very angry as I am loosing time with my surgery as it’s a case of saving my left foot, and now I have to go all through it again with having a pre operation check as it’s run out of time and it’s not even my fault I WOULD LIKE SOME ONE IN CHARGE TO CONTACT ME ASAP TO TAKE THIS FURTHER BEFORE I TAKE IT TO THE GMC I CAN PASS YOU ANY TIME MY NAME PHONE NUMBERS ETC.

Please deal with ASAP

Regards
