I have been trying to book an appointment with Lower Clapton Group Practice for review of my medication for well over a month now. I have worked out that I need a telephone appointment and that this should be booked online. The online "Patient Access" is more about how good the practice is (! ! ! ) than about how to make an appointment. I have found it difficult to locate (the website is badly designed) and when I do, there is nothing available. Phoning means listening to a long talk about how good the website is and how wonderful it would be if patients used it (! ! ! ), followed by telephone options, followed on one occasion by a receptionist who suggested (very politely) that I try again in the morning. On another occasion I received a call back at an inconvenient time and was not permitted to make a call back myself at a convenient time. A doctor then called me at a different time than the one I had noted down and I missed the call. And so on... How do I feel? Frustrated. This is (or used to be) a good Practice. Why has it been allowed to get into this state of affairs?
