"Cataract surgery and lens replacement 9th..."

About: Scarborough General Hospital / Ophthalmology

Following referral for cataract surgery and feeling very apprehensive I was pleasantly suprised at the competency and reassurances from everyone. The doctors professionalism and efficiency reassured me whilst the nursing staff on willow ward through to the operation theatre kept me informed throughout. Giving relevant information on what to expect with clear verbal and written information. Honestly cannot thank them all enough. Due to have the other eye done in the future and wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this - what a lovely comment to see. I'm not surprised you were apprehensive, I'm sure lots of the people who walk through our doors feel exactly the same way - but how wonderful to hear that staff were putting you at ease and communicating really well with you. I'll pass the message on to that team.

Thank you again - and good luck with the other eye!
