"My two week stay in ward 4"

About: Borders General Hospital / General Medicine

(as the patient),

I was a patient in ward 4 for just under 2 weeks and from the very start i was treated as a person and consulted about all decisions of my care. it was a ward where at times movement to other wards were frequent this  did occur and due to feeling  not to good that day i was very upset however next day problem was sorted and i was moved back to ward 4 for the rest of my stay ,The nurses are very busy and work so hard i was very impressed by there attitude and professional attitude to their duties,my whole stay was made as easy as possible if there is anything that i felt needed reviewed it would be the discharge of patients but that is without nurses control.

Hi Annlizzy,

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience of ward 4. I am delighted to read how you were at all times treated like a person and involved in decisions related to your care.

I will ensure this feedback is shared with the ward 4 team. We have also started sharing positive care opinion stoires at our morning hospital huddle with all the leads for the site. I will be taking this good news story tomorrow!

Best wishes

Gareth
