About: Glenfield Hospital

I recently had a Thoracic procedure performed by the doctor due to scar tissue in my windpipe caused during a triple heart by pass carried out at another hospital .

I was experiencing shortness of breath and a continuous whistling noise when breathing this was affecting my social and work life

The doctor immediately identified the problem and knew exactly what procedure needed to be carried out.

His team were outstanding, the initial care and after care given was magnificent, I could not fault my short stay on ward 26.
