"Medical Input"

I visited A&E as I had been unwell and although I gave a good history with the timeline as I am myself a doctor the junior doctor was more insistent that they will not be "keeping me in" despite my repeated assurances that I was not looking for admission but instead wanted to have the right investigation and diagnosis. They failed to investigate and carry out the relevant tests although they saw some tests which were abnormal which should have alerted them to other tests being carried out.

The only input was the FY1 being sent to see a consultant be it in another trust to see me and there was no evidence of any professional courtesy from the medical staff who are clearly unsafe to practice

The nurses on the other hand were helpful and respectful.

I had to go to A&E the next day again as GP was now worried about the tests and although the GP had sent a letter of referral the medical reg refused to come and see.

The A&E is definitely unsafe with the current medical staffing practices
