"10 mth wait for step 4 trauma therapy finished..."

I have been waiting 10 mths to see what I was told would be a psychologists who deals with step 3-4 complex cases. Turns out I see a cbt therapist . I have only just started to feel comfortable and engage with my issues, only to be told on my last visit that I have come to an end as she’s leaving!!!!

This would of been known when I was coming upto the top of waiting list, as retirement in nhs is not a months notice.

I havnt even touched on ways off dealing with my issues, it’s only just the last 2 that I’ve managed to take a little from in terms of managing my trauma. Now it’s ending.

I am absolutely disgusted with Healthy Minds,

1. For me seeing cbt therapist and not psychologist (which I was told)

2. For them knowing retirement wAs in place for this person, when I’m complex issues

I know nhs mh is in extreme measures, but why give a mh patient in trauma such a short therapy. I feel completely let down yet again from Tameside.

After several visits to Raid at a&e and also to be turned down because I don’t meet criteria at secondary mh . Trauma and complex issues????

Don’t fit
