"Nothing to fear"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Respiratory medicine

I was admitted to Morton Ward after attending the Emergency Depart at the QMC and being diagnosed with Streptococcal Pneumonia and Sepsis.

The thing I remember most is that from the moment I arrived, till the moment I left, I felt safe.

I have never had a serious illness before this and so was my first proper stay in hospital. Like many people, prior to this, I would have dreaded the prospect of being in hospital.

I want to say thank you to all the staff on this ward for the care and kindness shown to me.

Kind Regards

Mick

Dear Mick

Thank you so much for getting in touch and sharing your experience of our Emergency Department and City’s Morton Ward. It’s great to know that you felt safe in our care and that we looked after you so well. I’ll pass on your kind words to both teams.

Best wishes

Rebecca Willis
