A dietition from St Michael's instructed my 100 year old mother's GP to stop prescribing Ensure without even visiting her.
After querying this another dietition did visit and my mother's nurse pleaded with her to continue the Ensure.
She said "it's not up to me" so I have no idea why she came.
She finally agreed to one more month of Ensure after which my mother is to drink milk and take vitamin pills.
Routine is very important to a 100 year old and my mother had been taking Ensure for four years.
The change of routine has already affected my mother's mental health.
The dietitians at St Michael's Hospital are a complete disgrace.
