"Dr kept me going"

I met with a Dr when I was struggling with the news that I'd been diagnosed with terminal cancer plus other worries I experience on a daily basis.

The Dr was kind, caring, understanding and very patient, knowing just the right things to say to give me hope. He didn't rush me and I left feeling much more positive about life and with ideas to follow to help me cope better.

It is not easy to get an appointment to see the Dr but the practice manager made this appointment for me, understanding the urgency at the time.

I am most grateful to the manager also for his understanding and help.

This one appointment probably made it possible for me to be writing this now as I was so low and desperate.
