Endometriosis

I always had period problems, brushed off, even an ectopic operation found endometriosis (but they didn't think this was important enough to tell me) I only found out by ordering my medical notes, I have suffered consistently for 11 years and only within the last year have recieved serious treatment, I have been on an op list for 20 weeks now, I am in pain, I cannot work, I'm nearly through my savings, I often wonder if men on average have to wait this long for their ops?   I would be very interested to see someone compare waiting times for men and women.
