"Disappointing attention to detail throws off..."

About: Pembroke Road Surgery

As lots of people have commented, appointments are hard to come by.

It's rare to be able to see the same Dr twice which means for ongoing conditions you are bounced around between locums with no continuity and spend most of the 10 mins re-explaining something.

It was because of this I had chance to see my medical notes.

No wonder successive Drs were struggling to diagnose me - when I saw them printed, I realised one Dr had written the polar opposite of what I was saying which had thrown off subsequent doctors.

He did seem distracted and rushed at the time and whilst it may seem a trivial mistake for him it slowed my diagnosis down a few weeks and means I'll question to see everything in writing going forward.

All together it does feel like a conveyor-belt service - perhaps a function of NHS funding rather than the individuals, but alarming and disappointing.
