"Excellent care"

About: Dr Gray's Hospital / Emergency Medicine

(as a relative),

My son decided to jump 8ft off a climbing frame the day before we went on holiday resulting in a swollen painful right ankle and inability to weight bear. The nursing staff, EMP, radiographers and plaster room staff couldn't have done enough to make him feel better and keep me informed of what was going on. Luckily no fracture but lots of wounded pride! Thanks to all of you for your friendly and efficient service.

Dear worriermum

Thank you for taking the time to post your positive comments on care opinion. It is really good to hear that your son and yourself were kept fully informed and were treated so well by our staff in the Emergency Department here in Dr Grays. We are very fortunate to have such dedicated knowledgable staff

I will pass your comments onto the staff in the ED, who always like to hear kind comments such as these.

I do hope your son's ankle is improving and he is back enjoying the climbing frame

Regards

Yvonne Wright (Chief Nurse)
