"Long wait for podiatry treatment"

About: Bromley Healthcare / Podiatry

(as a service user),

I have waited a whole year to have an ingrown toenail treated after having had a pre-op assessment at the beginning of the year.I phoned Beckenham Beacon two months ago, they said they would not be able to see me until December.

However, it is affecting my mobility and closed shoes put pressure on my toe and now the weather is getting cooler its is affecting me more. I also want to take part in respiratory classes to help me manage COPD but cannot do this until the toe nail is treated and no longer painful.

Having a child with special needs adds to the challenge.
