Following a visit to our local GP complaining of pain in the lower abdomen, I was referred to Crawley Hospital for a colonoscopy and then a follow up CT scan at Est Surrey Hospital in Redhill. A colonoscopy is not the most pleasent experience however the staff at Crawley were professional, treating me at all times with complete respect, explaining at every stage what they were going to do. The same was true at East Surrey for the CT scan.

Whilst I am sure the above happens everyday up and down the country, with the press taking delight in finding horror stories about the NHS, I just wanted to record what an excellent advert both hospital departments are for the NHS.
