"Outstanding care"

I have received outstanding care and treatment from all health care professionals dealing with my recent heart issues. My GP told me to call 999 where I received excellent advice and support. A charming and most helpful paramedic arrived within 10 mins at my home, assessed my condition and carefully explained why I was feeling so unwell. An ambulance arrived within minutes where I received further excellent care and reassurance on my swift journey to

A and E. Numerous staff demonstrated great expertise and sorted out my irregular heart rate. Nothing was too much trouble for all staff caring for me, I was most grateful for their kindness. My heart issues have been thoroughly investigated at various clinics at both the Hallamshire and Northern General Hospitals. Every clinic I have attended I have been treated with dignity and kindness by all staff. A really efficient service where everything has been explained to me by patient and caring staff. I attended another clinic today (Saturday!) where a charming consultant took the time and trouble to talk through and explain my test results and possible further treatment options for my heart condition. I’m 88 years young and feel so grateful for the wonderful treatment I have already received from the NHS. We should never take health care for granted, how fortunate we are in Sheffield to have such wonderful medical services and dedicated staff.
