"Best doctors I’ve had yet. Has been life changing."

After having an awful experience at another local drs I moved across to this practice in 2015. It’s the best thing that ever happened. I tried for 10 years at the other practice to get a mental health diagnosis but never made any progress until I joined here.

Through having a long term mental health issue, contracting meningitis and then sepsis and having an IUD fitted I have seen every Dr and nurse here. Each one is respectful, caring and thorough. They are welcoming of my other half that has to come with me to all of my appointments. And I am always involved in the decision process with medications or tests. And all information is treated as confidential. Drs often remember that I have a mental health issue and check how I’m doing even when visiting with another issue. And all doctors read my notes before talking to me which is very rare else where but very much appreciated.

There can sometimes be quite a wait for appointments but I have always been able to get an emergency appointment on the day when needed. Most of the reception staff are wonderful. I have only had a couple of issues of being spoken to quite abruptly or being asked what’s wrong with me in the waiting room when I’d rather not say, they’re only human But all prescription requests, sick notes and requested letters are dealt with quickly.

The practice offers a text service to remind me of appointments and electronic prescriptions meaning I can use Pharmacy2U to get my medications delivered to my door. Which has been life changing.

In all I hope I never have to find another doctors surgery.
