"Appointment for a clinic"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

(as the patient),

Went to the doctor who referred me to the hospital. Had to wait about 2 months for the appointment date. Took a day off work, arrived in good time to my appointment only to be faced with an hours delay, then got told I had been given the wrong clinic to attend. Waste of my time and the NHS’s time. Communication could have been a whole lot better. Now I have to wait for the right appointment to come through, more wasted time.

Lincy I am so sorry and I can completely understand your frustration. Whilst not knowing the reason for your problems this time we are in the process of introducing new appointment processes including texts and a different mailing process so hopefully next time everything will go smoothly for you.

The appointment process was fine, it was the fact that I had been booked into the wrong out patient clinic, so now I am waiting for another appointment for the right clinic/treatment so more wasted time to get the treatment I need.
