"Day case unit"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

Today 04/10/18 we took my elderly Father (95 years) for a routine skin lesion to be taken off

his head, he has mobility problems so just getting him to the hospital is traumatic for him, they took him through and said he was first on the list so we decided to wait in the cafe we then had a phone call an hour later to say the couldn't do it as his notes were misplaced they knew this the day before but instead of calling us to say ring on the day to make sure his notes were there to save a wasted journey they let us get him there and wait around for an hour before informing us about the notes being lost, we are absolutely disgusted with the hospital my father came out very upset and we have to do it all again.

This hospital is terrible and I hope nobody has to go here for anything because god knows what could happen.

we are going to make a complaint.
