I had a planned c-section in September due to low lying placenta and we wanted to thank all the staff that helped us throughout, from midwives to doctors. Especially the anesthesist who was very supportive and reassuring us during surgery.
The surgery was very successful and our baby was born Without any complications.
On top of that we stayed in hospital for a few more nights because I wanted to make sure I could breastfeed my baby and the support given was huge. I would like to thank the infant feeding coordinator who was very caring and professional, and despite being very busy she was finding the time to come and see us and check on progress. She even called me to see how I was doing after days of being discharged. Our baby was very jaundice and hence not interested in food that much, so it was very challenging. We couldn’t have done it without her support. Midwives were also amazing, always finding the time to help us.
