I was very impressed with the care I received from booking in in the ANC, consultant led care throughout pregnancy (twins), delivery (ended up in theatre for assisted delivery oohs) then spending time on transition ward. TI would think I had over 50 people involved in mine and twins care and the vast majority seemed excellent both in clinical care and respecting my requests.
The infant feeding team was also fab and as been really helpful since discharge as well.
My only concerns-
One mw on transition ward who advised incorrect volumes of milk required as seemed to not understand/appreciate the difference between bf and formula fed requirements- this was rather stressful at the time.
Confusion on neonatal when partner went to see one of the twins after their birth for the first time and wasnt allowed to initially due to confusion with who they were.
The parking situation is really hopeless- surely building up to create a multistorey carpark would be sensible. Also to pay for a weeks parking it is on the otherside of the hospital 20minute walk from maternity services.
But overall care has been fantastic which is the most important thing. Thank you
