"A really pleasurable experience"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I attended the Sandbourne Suite as a day patient.

I did go in with some trepidation as I'd had steroid injections for arthritis in both feet over a year ago and the treatment didn't work. However, 4 weeks further on now, I am walking about 80% better and in far less pain.

The service and care I received in the Sandbourne Suite was excellent and my whole day a really pleasurable experience. Thank you so much to all the Staff involved.

Dear ‘Live-life’

Thank you for your feedback and given the 80% improvement in your walking it does sound like you will really be able to live-life more fully with the added mobility and less pain.

Sorry to hear the first treatment with steroid injections was not successful and left you feeling anxious about having further treatment but we are pleased to hear your latest treatment has been much more effective.

Thank you for noting the high quality care and treatment from the staff which led to your whole day being a pleasurable experience and we will be sure to pass on your kind comments to the team.

Kind regards

Patient Engagement Team
