I had bloods tests taken at heatherwood. The phlebotomy dept could not print and sent patients to pre-assessment without any idea what to say or do. The member of staff, on pre-assessment (herself very busy) did everything is expect from a service valuing excellence, she went to phlebotomy to understand the need and to ensure they were doing everything they could to rectify the disruption, kept us informed and tried to print our paperwork. The phlebotomy dept managed to fix their printer (undoubtedly because of her) and no one else that day would be effected. Patient or staff.
Great job with some bored and demanding patients!
