I have suffered with UTI’s for years (since childhood) and had got so sick of having to take time off work to visit GPs who generally didn’t discuss anything with me and just hand out a prescription...that I used an online paid GP service and received 2 sets of antibiotics - neither of which were effective.
I had to capitulate and book an appointment with a GP at Adlington Medical practice in Chorley (Lancs).
Dr Alhibasha was my GP and I honestly cannot praise her enough, she gave me lots of options to help me in the future (telephone consultations to save time off work etc) asked relevant questions to identify the trigger and actually listened with empathy and kindness suggesting long term options that had never been mentioned before by other GPs.
I have never been treated with such respect and accommodation by any GP before.
I just wanted to give praise where it is most certainly due.
