"Total disregard for patients feelings!"

I have been visiting the surgery regularly for blood tests and consultations of my increasing worsening of symptoms. I feel like I’m going round in circles! Never see the same doctor and doctors that you do see tend to contradict each other in opinions and treatment needed. Today I visited the practice again for yet another review after a blood test last week. Again during the review I am being prescribed the same medication that has on a number of occasions hasn’t improved or even helped in the slightest. Doctor didn’t seem to want to listen to what I was explaining or have any interest in my new symptoms. I found the doctor to be very dismissive to the point I actually got upset during the consultation and explained I didn’t feel that he was listening to what I had to say. At that point he stood up and opened the door for me to leave handing me the same prescription. In tears I left the practice feeling completely distraught and upset. I thought doctors were supposed to listen and make desicions based on their medical knowledge and patient history. Non of my history, explanations or worries were taken into account and I had obviously gone over the allotted timeframe given so was ushered out. I’m disgusted and now feel I have no other alternative but to find a new GP and start the whole process again.
