I’ve heard so many stories around the UK of patients returning to their GP with the same symptoms for months, and also years, with nothing being done until it’s too late.

However, fortunately not in my case. I had lower stomach pains and my GP saw me, he told me to return in 2 weeks with some blood tests. Within a matter of 3 weeks, he arranged important investigations and I was diagnosed with very early cancer, which luckily could be removed and now I have no worries and total reassurance.

I’m so grateful for the GP’s proactive approach, I’m so thankful.
