"Dreadful - Pointkess Service"

About: St Marks Hospital

Service Cannot be contacted. I’ve tried for the last week and there is only one number and no email address.

What is the point of offering as service that is not able to be accessed at all??

Somebody within NHS management has big questions to answer!

Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for your posting and I am sorry that you have experienced problems when contacting this service. The clinic at St Marks Hospital is a satellite clinic and staff are only available 5-7pm on Thursdays. The contact number on the Trust website is 01753 635302. This will transfer you automatically to the main reception at the Garden Clinic in Slough, which is open Monday to Friday. I have just tried this number and I got through to Reception there straight away.

I hope that this addresses your concerns and please contact me if you continue to experience problems. Alternatively, you could contact your local Healthwatch organisation for assistance. Healthwatch is the name of the independent ‘consumer champion for health and social care’ launched by the Government in April 2013. There are 152 local Healthwatch organisations across England, set up in each local authority area. Healthwatch is designed to give the public more say over services and to help prevent a repeat of failings in the past. Contact details can be found on our website; www.berkshirehealthcare.nhs.uk

Kind Regards,

Trevor Lyalle
