"Treatment offered after emergency hospital..."

I rang the surgery last week very concerned about my daughter - sadly I didn’t ask the name of the receptionist who told me a doctor wouldn’t come to see my daughter who had deteriorated with a UTI - she visited the walk in 36 hours previously as she couldn’t get an appt. Despite treatment with anti biotics her temperature had risen, she couldn’t get out of bed - she was shaking uncontrollably - I asked what I should do as she didn’t feel able to go to surgery - good job as they had no emergency appts - I asked what I should do - the answer you could call an ambulance but they probably won’t come for a UTI. The next day my daughter was admitted from ambulatory urgent care after being given IV drugs her blood marker being 260+ when it should be below 5 now suffering from a kidney infection. She spent 24 hours in Russell’s Hall - she now has to have IV anti biotics daily for a week as she has a kidney infection. She called into GP today to ask for a doctors note - she was told no appts until next Tue - followed by queue up outside before 8am - absolutely diabolical lack of care. Surely you can look at her records - you will have heard from RH then get a GP to sign a note for her? I am appalled. She isn’t well enough to queue up outside + she has 2 young children one a baby! Wasn’t your surgery slated by CQC? You need to train your staff better, have some empathy and look after your patients. As a manager in the NHS myself I would discipline any of my staff who behaved in this way! My daughter is well educated, has a professional job - she is not a malingerer or someone wasting your time - she has been very poorly, unable to care for her children and wants to get better by receiving the care she needs from your surgery she has received none. What she has had from you is a poor response to her needs and a negligent regard for her health. I am disgusted. I await your reply. Oh and if my daughter cannot get a doctors note tomorrow or Weds when she will have been off work a formal complaint will be made.
