I am sorry for the delay in sending you this e-mail review, partly due to the subsequent medical requirements of my wife Judy, but none the less I feel the personnel involved should be commended for their remarkable dedication and professionalism.

On 7th July whilst showering my wife suffered an enormous and frightening bleed from a vein in her foot creating an unstoppable fountain of blood. The 999 services were brilliant advising me how to stem the flow as far as possible whilst the ambulance was on it’s way.

Remarkably quickly the staff arrived in the ambulance and immediately took charge of the situation.

Their calmness and speed of action whilst dealing with the bleed, dressing my wife and getting her to Torbay hospital and the team at the hospital were a credit to the NHS and all involved, especially the charming ambulance staff.
