My elderly mother (92) was admitted to Wexham park about 8 weeks ago after a fall at home. She was in ward 18 where they investigated her condition and did various tests. My mother was not very co-operative a lot of the time. The ward was always very well cleaned and spotless and the staff were excellent and caring. After it was decided that not much else could be done for her, she was transferred to Ward 17 awaiting a nursing home. The staff here were even better, if that was possible and again always spotless. After a few weeks there her health deteriorated and she eventually passed ways peacefully on 1st September. I did not have a very good opinion of the Hospital in the past, but the experiences of the care of my mother certainly changed that. Although a lot of works were still going on, for a hospital of it's age it was as good as many and better than most. Very well done to all the staff that I came into contact with, you should all be very proud of yourselves. Excellent hospital
